QUESTION

My team qualified and the room block at the regatta hotel is now closed, where should we stay?

ANSWER

We recommend staying on the Norfolk side of the tunnels. Many inexpensive hotels can be found in the area a short drive from the venue and AirBNB is also a decent option.

QUESTION

Will there be spectator boats available?

ANSWER

There will be no publically available provided spectator boats from the organizing body. Spectators are welcome to watch from the water, but are asked to respect the 200yd exclusion zone around the field of play. One warning will be given, after which the associated team will receive a scoring penalty.

QUESTION

If there are no boats, where should we watch from?

ANSWER

Spectating will be from the waterfront at ODU. Please be aware that the Field of Play will be the waterfront from the launch ramp all the way to the creek. Only coaches and uniformed players will be allowed in this area.
